About Me

I feel it is only fair that I introduce myself, and give you some context on who I am and what I’m about.

My name is Tj Guttormsen (try saying that last name 10 times fast with your mouth full of marshmallows), and I’m a lifestyle coach. I’ve done most of my work in Norway where I currently run Genuine Connections, Norways busiest lifestyle and seduction company, but I’ve also worked internationally and done workshops in cities like Berlin, Amsterdam and Las Vegas with men such as Johnny Soporno, Zan Perrion, Adam Lyons, Jamie Smart and Steve Piccus, to mention a few.

As I am writing this I’m actually on a plane, travelling home to Norway from Las Vegas where I’ve been coaching at Johnny Sopornos week long “Trancending Pick-up”-workshop together with an amazing cast of coaches. Johnny, myself, Steve Pavlina, Hypnotica, Adam Lyons, Amadeus Hellequin, Erika Awakening and Neil Natura are just a few of the well-known names in the self-help and seduction industry who appeared at this event. The week was a lot of fun, but even more importantly it made me realize that it was time to share my teachings outside of Norway on a bigger scale, and thus, a new blog is born.

Blogging is a format I’m quite used to as I’ve been blogging in Norwegian for the last four years. My first blog, which I wrote together with Klas, my co-founder of Genuine Connections, was an anonymous blog where we shared our experiences, ideas and philosophies with the Norwegian people. The blog became so popular that it eventually became impossible to keep our anonymity, and in the summer of 2009 I was asked by VG Nett, Norways most visited online newspaper, to do a project with them. So during the summer I wrote a 4 month long step-by-step social-development program which turned out to be insanely popular. Before the project was over we’d had over 300 000 hits and had received thousands of comments and emails. I also appeared on national radio for 6 weeks in the same time period, sharing free tips and advice every day for anyone who cared to listen – and there were a lot of those. All of this caught the medias attention, and during the fall of 2009 I appeared on several other national radiostations and newspapers, as well as two appearances on national television. The workshops we do with Genuine Connections are usually fully booked weeks in advance, and we have hundreds of very happy clients from our workshops and seminars all over Norway.

Privately I live the life of my dreams. I surround myself with wonderful people who help make every day an adventure, I meet incredible women everywhere I go, and I have a social life unlike anything I could’ve even imagined a few years ago. Today, I truly would not trade lives with anyone on this planet!

I tell you all this simply so you’ll know a little bit about who I am and what I do. In this blog I will be sharing my best tips and advice as well as my favorite experiences as my life and teachings progress. The topics will range from flirt and seduction, to relationship maintenance, and last but not least my main area of interest: Self-development, and building and improving social circles.
